Okay, here’s the situation: I just moved outta the house, and I’m living with a friend, he’s buying a G2 Integra, and he doesn’t know the differences between a 90-93. So someone out there that has the knowledge, help us out. Late.
90-91 have 10 less hp, 3 rung steering wheel, shorter (uglier IMO) front and rear bumpers, usually black mirrors and some with black door handles, and are non-obd cars.
92-93 have 10 more hp, 4 rung steering wheel, more stylish front and rear bumpers, match painted mirrors and door handles (if you get a GSR matched moldings as well), OBD-1 car. GSRs have 30 more hp but cost a bit more money.
Overall, I like the 92-93 Tegs much better. But the 90-91s are still nice. You can’t go wrong with either.
I have a 93 RS with black mirrors and door handles, on a red car? So are you saying that it’s not a 93 because the door jam says different.

In 92-93, I beleive its the LS andGS models (and the GS-R) that have the body-coloured moldings and mirrors. The RS doesn’t.
i’ve got a 92 white rs… with black moldings… black mirrors… black door handles. IMO it looks better with all white like the GSR… but i’ll take what i’ve got. i’m looking to take it to get paint-matched later… when i have cash.

dan, in the 90-91’s only the RS model has the black door handles. LS and GS are color matched.
another difference is alloy wheels, the 90-91 alloys are butt ugly, while the 92-93 alloys look pretty sweet.
Okay…so most all RS models have black moldings and mirrors. I know that the only car that came factory with match painted moldings was the LS-S and the GS-R. I believe 90-91s all have black mirrors factory. And all 92-93 LS, GS, and GS-R model tegs have painted mirrors.
I have a '90 GS that has factory painted mirrors… but maybe canadian standard features are different… <shrug>
And no one mentioned the diff taillights?? Usually that’s such a big topic… '90-91 has just red and white taillights with pink stripes on the white part.
'92-'93 has an amber section too, and no pink lines.
also in '90, (correct me if I’m wrong), but no “A” emblems came on the cars from the factory, but in '91 they started putting them on the back.
91 LS Special has color matched mirrors and door handles. The 90 integras have “INTEGRA” Written across the center rear of the car between the hatch and bumper cover. It is a sticker about two inches tall and 10 inches long. They all look good to me!
90’s only have 1 emblem too the infamous “ACURA” on the rear deck
heres a ? for u guys my 1990 GS 2door is white with white door handles , black mirrors , power windows/sunroof/steering/Abs brakes, but no power locks?? WTF??
i had a 90 GS 4dr with no sunroof…
