Ok…I’ve got an auto teg so this is why I’m even considering this.
DON’T FLAME ME FOR CHOOSING A B16A I have NO intentions of keeping it long term.
What I want to know is if there is if there is anything different as far as instilationg goes for a b16a w/ an auto trans vs a b16a w/a 5-speed?
Will I be able to use my b18a wiring harness (w/b18a injectors/distributor and what not)? or will I HAVE to get a proper b16a wiring harness?
My main concern is the auto trans.

There’s a really kickass text document that’s hosted on the site (I THINK in teg tips) that deals with engine swaps, download it and study like a mofo. This should answer your questions really nicely. 
basically, if you keep your harness (recommended as opposed to running an entire new wiring harness thru your whole car–UGH) just keep your dist./injectors; you’ll need to run the wires for VTEC and knock sensor (4 wires total)…easy easy easy. Just make sure you get the correct ECU for your car’s year. 90-91 you’ll need either a PR3 or PWO computer (non-OBD, cream colored plugs), and for 92-93 (OBD-I, gray plugs) you’ll need either a P28, P30, P61 (G2 GSR ECU) or P72 (make sure it’s the OBD-I P72, from a 94-95 GSR).
i strongly recommend however before you do a swap that you read up HEAVILY from the guide on this site. HTH!

except…I’ve already read that thing from top to bottom a long time ago. The question I have refer’s to the auto trans…not the engine itself that guide dosen’t have anything regarding auto trans’s
hehe okay…just wanted to make sure the basics were covered first. 
as for auto trannies, i’m not an expert (if i was i wouldn’t be wasting time in college hehe) but it would only seem logical that they’re pretty much swappable to any engine? anyone? at least that would be my guess, being that all b-series blocks are the same size it’s just bore/stroke that are different…
again, i’m not too experienced with autos either, but it would seem to me that they would all fit perfectly on there…i remember seeing on ard performance’s website, when i was engine shopping, that they did have a b16a with an auto tranny…so i’m GUESSING that it’ll be fine. GUESSING. Which means please let someone more knowledgeable add.
