I have a first gen b16a, so far the list of mods is as follows,
8.8lb aasco flywheel
6 puck sprung hub clutch
dc header
cai
msd
throttle rotor
After I sit at idle for a few seconds and begin to drive my check engine light comes on. From what I can tell is that it’s loading up somehow, is there an ecu program out there that I could use What’s the best ecu program… pr3??:shrug: :shrug: :shrug:
What code is it throwing?
If it comes on after you hit 3.5->4k on the tach it’s probibly the knock sensor throwing the check engine light. A lot of people have the same problem.
It’s throwing the fuel delivery code… I went to the local speedshop and they informed me that I have an aftermarket fpr. I bought the engine from ard performance and whoever had it before threw on a b and m commandflo. They had the pressure at 65 psi… now that I turned it down it only comes on every 4 minutes, then cycles and shuts itself off… I have no clue…:shrug: :shrug: :shrug:
Hey what speedshop did you go to? I’d reccomend going to speedline or speedzone, they’re good at what they do, also I may have a friend that could help you out, he’s hella good with engines and stuff, I live in shelton which sucks but you should hit me up on aim or something, my s/n is FuzZzbaLLz, I’ll try and get a hold of my friend so I could help you out, peace
