I put in a CD player yesterday to compliment the del sol seats out of my crx. It worked, sat in my new integra with a smile for at least a couple hours reading and listening (garages in winter ROCK!), but then i got in there this morning and no music, sniff sniff. I spent 2 hours installing the damn thing and now all i hear is a pop from the speakers when i take the face off, and the deck lights up but the face does not. My freaking CD is still in it also.
I checked the fuse panel, but because i bought the car for so darn cheap it’s missing the fuse box map, so i pulled them all out.
Only a 15amp was blown I replaced it, yet still does not work.
is my car angry at the del sol seats or am i just SOL? I got the deck used, but it worked when i installed it. In the tech section is they’re a write up for the stock harness? I used the wiring diagram off my CRX, which is almost the same except 2 wires.
please help, i’ve spent 4 years now with out a stereo in my car, when it played i felt like it was music out of a church…ehh well if you can consider digweed a church going guy
Is your battery dead? hmm if your lights come on then perhapds not, so could be your wiring, I’m at school right now, so I don’t have the wire schemes on me, I’ll post back later if I remember about the wiring.
if possible can you tell me what wires you used for what, ex. what color stock wire did you use for speaker… etc. e-mail me @ spikeymike218@hotmail.com i install stereos for a living and might be able to help you out. oh yeah, let me know what kind of stereo it is and if you have any amps or whatever.

Well this is all I got from what I remember:
Power(Ignition): Yellow/Red
Power(Constant): White/Blue
Power(Antenna): Yellow/Green
Illumination: Red/Black
Ground: Black
These are the stock wire-color schemes that I figured out. I guess I just figured out the speaker wires, probably easy to figure that out. Hope this helps.

Yep, its probably mad at you. Mine does that on occasion. Mine got mad at me for driving her in the cold and my clutch developed a bunch of free-play. Be nice to her.
