just got an rsr exmag exhaust for 375 and the guy threw in a catco high flow cat installing it after paint in the spring time. ---

Engine: B18A Mods: AEM CAI Exhaust: stock header, cat, RSR Exmag Catback Loudness: 2 Sounds like stock inside the car, but outside is a bit louder and deeper. Can only notice the sound in lower RPM in first - third gear. Can’t notice it at all when driving on the hwy. Not loud at all at WOT… my intake masks the sound of the exhaust. ---

i got my exhaust on finally (90 gs 4dr)… it’s a “megan racing” exhaust bought it from a friend for a ratehr cheap price… got a little bit of piping done at the rear and got it welded on… sounds real nice. nice and low no ringing noises or anything… i would rate mine above avg though… b/c it’s not gay sounding. all my friends like it and even do some of my friends that are “domestic” guys maybe if i get my camcorder workin i can post a vid/sound clip ---

My exhaust setup: AN-r race header kteller 2.5" pipes Kteller 2.5" cat by-pass (for track) Magnaflow 2.5" cat (for street) magnaflow 2.5" resonator Skunk2 muffler sound, on a scale of 1-10, i rate it a 7 or 8 (depends if i have a cat in or not). Oddly enough, my car is actually louder with a Cat in, than with the straight pipe. ---

This thread has really help me narrow down my choices, but i am not really worried about the sound, myself. Actually, i want it to be loud, just not ricey loud, but more of a throughty and deep loud. My real determaning factor in purchasing an exhaust is how it looks. Who make the exhaust system where it comes out the back kinda sideways? I think its called “drift style” or sumthin’. P.S. Posting pics would be tight, too. ---

This thread is pretty helpful! RiceIntegraRS…Do you have sound/video clip of your car in idle. Also, a pic of the exhaust, if you can. Liked your vid clip of your flyby…nice sound…exactly what I’m looking for! How much did it run you? Also, place of purchase? ONE-R…I was thinking about the ES tuning with custom piping as well. I’d like to hear your exhaust if you can post it. Also, do you have a pic of the under side of your car…showing the es tuning muffler. I’m curious to see how it’s mounted. Thanks. ---

if your lowered go with the hks. the hks is low but the rsr has no clearence at all my friend has stock ride height and has dinged his up numerous times. ---

my custom exhuast i went down to the local muffler shop last sat and put on a dtm style dual tip muffler its pretty lound when i get on it but wise quiet so i would rate it 3 out of 5 my cuz has a crx with no exhuast and its fucking lound you can hear it way out of town late at nite when hes coming to town ---

'90 'Teg Exhaust New to these boards, but I was just wondering if anybody has pics of a Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust. My GF and I actually just picked up a '90 GS tonight. The car already has an intake and header, but I was just looking to add an exhaust system. I know Greddy is another good choice, but I had a Tanabe exhaust on my last car and was happy with the performance, look, and sound. Any pics and sound clips would be much appreciated. ---

Any ideas guys on why my hks hiper doesnt have as much of a tilt as everyone else’s does? Mine isn’t the hi power version so I don’t know if that matters or not. Its not engraved with anything on it so I assume its an older model. But any help on this matter would be appreciated thanks. 🙂 ---

i got the dc sports header and have never had a problem with it, my friend has the hks hiper and that exhaust sounds so freaken sweet not ricey or anything. ---

I would not personally use a test pipe, not because there illegal just because your exhaust stinks of unburnt gas. Get a cat-co high-flow direct replacement for $103 shipped.
