do it, these pics are from a small percentage of the amout of shit SSauto has sold. I have used there un-braced manifold for 6 months, no cracks. any mani will crack if the car has NO flexpipe or BAD engine mounts. my friend just put one on his CRX, had it on there for about a month no cracks. the wastegate leaks a little all the time but, it still hits boost without a problem. when you buy this just know you might be buying new shit within 2 weeks. it is a gamble. I think they fixed there compressor housings because my friends turbo has a different comp. housing than the one pictured cracked in half. we’ll see, I’ll post any problems with his kit or my manifold.

The whole kit is :ghetto: My friend recently bought one for his g2. ya he got a deal but first off nothing fit right & if he didn’t have access to someone who knew how to fabricate and weld stuff back together he would’ve been Shit outta luck. He had his kit on two days and the mani cracked, the other day his o2 dump tub broke off. His car has also ran like complete crap ever since he put it on. He has been quoted saying “My car was faster without this P.O.S” So moral of this is Unless you can remake basically everything and can weld like a champ, not to mention has lots of extra money saved up then Stay very very far away from this JUNK! Oh and also if u void everyones info and go buy the kit anyways i HIGHLY suggest going out and buying a second car to drive you’ll need it

Quality aside, its NOT a complete kit, and its not even that great of a deal. Look around, you can find parts that aren’t as questionable for a similar price.
i agree why buy unknow quality parts and MAY end up with headache, worst part is u will be out of a car when that things break, u will be park on a side of the highway kickin urself in the ass, then u have to wait for the warranty proccess, and blah blah blah, why dont u go find a smaller custom turbo shop that u can actually c the item or just do a junk yard turbo with rebuild kit, is still cheap and u noe is gonna be reliable, plus u can boost up a notch or 2 without being worry, and ppl here is not haters we all hate hater, they just try to make u c the light
manifold,wastegate,turbo,and downpipe for 500 is far from a complete kit…Youll still need intercooler,injectors,fuel managment,oil lines,charge piping,and a bov if one isnt included.Now take the time to do the math.$500 to start,150 for cheap intercooler,60 for 450ccs,at least 200+or- for fuel managment,about 75 for oil lines and you gotta tap pan too which might cost or might not,another 100 or so on piping,and 60 on a dsm bov.These are all the cheapest prices to complete a homemade turbo kit with ssautoshit .That comes out to $1145!!! Did you have a flex-pipe in the downpipe? these NEED to be there with ANY manifold. Also broken engine mounts will KILL manifolds. was the car tunned at all? a FMU or a AFC hack is NOT tunned.
I had been running an ss manifold for 6 months, no cracks. my boy just went 13.4 @ 106mph at 7psi with the shitty SS autocrap kit. at 7psi he made 187hp(6.2k rpm) & 178ft/lbs(4k rpm) at the wheels. 158k mile LS(in a CRX).

were hoping it stays together for at least 1 yr… we’ll see. its a weekend beater so, something is gunna break before the turbo kit goes.
i have seen this kit work wonders. a freind of mine is running 8psi on a b18b and went 13.3@110 mph and a shitty 60’. the kit does work and runs fine from what i have seen. but then again i have seen more horror stories than good.
for 600 bucks u can get urself a revhard mani and a tial wastegate and just save up the rest for a turbo and everything else needed. shit my turbo setup right now is going to be costing me about 1500-2000 and i bet i make more power than that. and thats with all quality parts :rockon:
