Is it possible to remove the mount going from the front of the tranny to the crossmember for clearance for a downpipe and do something else i need to know asap so i can get it welded on if you cant remove it without problems how can i get it bent enough. the downpipe comes straight off on the drivers side 2.5" pipe and the only way for it to go down is to remove the mount, you cant get a bend that tight unless you want major restriction
The only times I ever saw the front mounts removed on a DA/EF were when they had full aftermarket rear/side mounts. With stock mounts that’ll prolly torque like a wheel hop monster without that front mount. even with inserts. Might jsut have to do a sharp bend, or do a cheater bend. Anyway you can go on the other side of the mount?
