Replacement engine mounts

Hello,

My OEM engine mounts were worn out so, i installed Hasport engine mounts ~5 years ago. And of course, the engine vibrations noticeably increased. This is expected from poly mounts, and I thought I will get used to it, and the vibrations even decreased over time, but, as the time goes by, it started to annoy me more and more. I’ve torqued them to spec and in correct order as manual says, so i’m sure installation is not an issue, this is just a nature of poly mounts.

I’m thinking about going back to standard rubber ones, or at least try switching out the rear one first. But OEM new ones are discontinued and there are some aftermarket options, but all of them look like low quality cheap stuff, so I want to ask you guys if you have any recommendation what brand engine mounts to choose and where to buy them?

What engine mounts are you running and what is your experience?

Sorry If there was some thread about it, but a lot of info on this forum is quite old and may be irrelevant today.

I’m with you on the poly mounts and I went back to stock too.

I had trouble sourcing some, to be honest with you. I replaced them about 5 years ago but found the ones on Rockauto and/or Ebay were fine for my daily driver application.

I just looked them up – $80 for all 4 :open_mouth:

But yeah, they work fine up to today.

EDIT: I will say — given that they are on the cheap side, DEFINITELY pay attention to the bolt threads when you get them. Make sure they screw nicely and don’t bind.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you by any chance remember/can find what brand mounts you got?

It was a no-name brand off eBay. I had very limited choices because it was for an automatic too.
