rsx taillight conversion...

Nice real nice your DA is looking sweet with those RSX taillights good job that shit is HOT!!!:cool:

thanx man…next up paint… and rims…lol

love to see some good old DIY work congrads man!
not 100% sure i like it yet tho :squint: looks really different mix of old and new ! i think i like it hahaha anyway good work!

that looks awesome… but leave that wing off it. I was gonna give you props for the conversion even though the initial look wassnt my style.

But!! its looks sooooooo nice like it is now. the lines just flow. a wing would break it up imho.

dump the wing please!!!

In the first pic, showing the hood, is the hood popped? Or is it just sitting there? Fitment looks abit off. Other than that, props to you for this! Looks great!

thanx for the props fellas…as far as the hood… the center keeps hitting my valve cover…so I took a half inch out of the part of the scoop that goes in torwards the motor and lowered my latch back to normal… I have closed the gap… but I still have clearance problems… I’m going to have to check all my mounts and make sure they’re good…or buy a different style hood because hitting the valve cover is not something I want… in the pic I didn’t yet lower my latch…oh one more thing that might help you guys out…thinking about buying the hood I have…don’t its a headache…If I could do it over again… I would’ve bought something else

Ahh cool. I figured there was a valid reason for why it was not down all the way. Just dont put a hood on it with a big scoop on it like a funny car.

Once you get everything together and its on the road, I would love to see the final pics!

yeah I can’t wait until its done…Ill def. post the pix… maybe I should ask everyone… all black or half black half silver?

I think half black and silver would look nice depending on how you split it, but you know that all black is gonna look sick and slick but I think you should go all black just my opinion but I know regardless of the color you pick your DA is going to be HOT!!!, so keep up the good work man I can’t wait too see how it’s gonna look when you are done.:excite:

yeah i’m feeling the all black myself…so what does ure da look like 2nr?

Well my DA is a nice mettalic blue acura1652 blue is my favorite color so that’s why i chose mettalic blue but I saw a couple of DA’s in NY in a nice glossy black and they look sick that’s why i said that I know if you paint it in black it’s gonna look sick and slick you know what i mean.

yeah I know what you mean there are some really nice blues out on the market… my friend painted his car 350z blue… it was a civic…but it really stood out…

The body work is fantastic…but I just don’t like how those flow with the car…they seem…too big? Nice work though

When you say your thinking of black and white, how will you pull it off? Top all black, rest of car white? a line going from front bottom to rear top splitting the car? black all around, except the ground effects? Depending on how you decide, it could look really good, or so-so…

i was thinking black and silver not white…
top half black bottom silver…but I’m not sure…I have a crazy silver but I think all black will do the trick

all black

id paint it a nice white though, itd show the bodywork off.

car looks awesome

thanx…well they say that black is the color that shows everything … if I messed up I will see it… but I’m confident in the body work… I used the long board and took my time…I still have to block it but I haven’t driven the car in such a long time that i’m going to enjoy it for a week or two then get back to it…

Oops, sorry I ment silver, not white.

Ya, to be honest, I think single tone would work out best. Black works for me. (not that it counts for much in the grand scheme of things  )

a nice black with the black housing taillights black projectors and black rims with the polished lip… think it will look sick at night time

nice job, but not a fan, but nice
