I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem as myself? Under some semi-hard driving my car temp. gauge will drop from normal to almost cold. Is this something normal??? Does anyone else have this problem??? What could this be???
what do u mean under hard conditions?.. like when u r doing freeway driving… just cruising?.. cause if u ru… that is perfectly normal… afterall… it is somewhat winter… just hope it doesnt run hot… … or if ur really worried check that thermostat/coolant level… matt
If your thermostat goes bad, and gets stuck in the open position, coolant will circulate through your engine and it will run ‘cool.’
The thermostat is ~15 bucks at the dealership, and isn’t extremely hard to change, you will have to drain the cooling system though.
Get a repair manual if you don’t already have one…
