Thank you to all of those who time and showed up. It was refreshing to see many new faces, sorry I couldn’t shake hands with everyone, but I want everyone to know I really appreciate those who helped with the meet whether it was bringing something or by cooking (Duy and another fella). New guys, welcome and we hope you felt the friendships we old members have forged through meets, and hope you do the same as the meets as not merely for the cars, but also for the friendships which are made through such meets…if you were shy today, please, at the next meet, make your presence known so that I and the other members may get to know you better…
I also hope everyone left well nourished and full…thanks again to those who brought stuff…
Another great meet wrapped up and I am breaking my “once every other month meet” for the summer months and am in the process of starting the next meet planning so if you have a location in mind throw it into the basket when the location poll comes around.
I don’t know how much longer my schedule will allow me to plan future meets so please make the most of the meets I plan in the next couple of months as they may be the last ones I am organizing. It’s great and all, but it takes a lot of time (which I don’t have) and energy to organize meets. I think I should hand over the reigns to someone else…
