it’s to let the heat out better… disapates (sp?) heat better, i have no a/c, p/s, or anything, and air flows alot through my engine bay, so it’s better to have it lifted, expecially since i have a cf hood. it basically helps air out better, rather then letting it try to lift the hood up…

red & blue wheels - durasport autox wheels from japan, colored differently for different offsets. even though it’s still imprinted in the wheel at the center…
i picked the wheels up cheap, brand new, and from a shop… plus a friend owed me money and that’s how i got em for free basically… found out they were jdm wheels by some sites selling volks, advans, and other wheels, and these were up there for about $700… but whatever, i like my wheels… everyone says to paint them one color, others say it’s ugly, but i dont care, it’s my car… i built it for myself… if other people like it, it’s just a plus… if they dont, i dont care…
headlights - 3m makes the clear coat tape… the plastic layer basically that you put on your bumper to keep rock chips away from new paint… well… they make this stuff also, in different colors… my color - “hid blue” my friend’s, yellow… and a black tint… it was cheap… and different… i’ve never seen it on a da before… i think it looks nice…
my friend did his yellow because he saw mine several weeks before the meet… im pretty sure he took his off though… with the yellow, im pretty sure you’d get pulled over in a quick second… mine though, i’ve been pulled over 2 or 3 times, and have never said anything about it…

I saw your car today at Alameda a lil after 2ish… You were behind me at Atlantic heading to Oakland at a light to the tunnel (I was in a lowered red prelude). I love what you did to your car very different. two thumbs up from me

i got pulled over comming into alameda later on that night, at around 6’ish… alameda county sheriff got me doing 65 in the tunnel, i was doing 40, then built up speed, then noticed familiar lights from behind… i thought i was slowing down, but then i guess i built the speed up… then i kept slowing down… right when i changed lanes, he got behind me, then lights were on… he let me go with a warning though, said that he doesnt care about tickets, but alameda cops will be lil punks…
but yea… speeding is bad…

Yea you’re right Matt sold it a while ago, it was a nice gen2 though. Is his turbo CRX done and running? I didn’t know he got another CRX. Haven’t talked to that guy in a while. the guy matt sold his gen2 to goes to school with me. wyo tech. a.k.a. sequoia inst. it’s ugly now though, wing, no jdm headlights, front ugly kit, ugly flat black primer job…
turbo crx is running now, he just hadt o change the knuckles, and master cylinder to have the brakes good…
