wow man your car is such an inspiration to get mine looking as good! i haven’t checked this thread in a while but when i did it was a pleasant surprise with all the work you have done! hopefully my car will be done in the next month or so (paint that is) then all the other crap starts :dozing:

so i have a brandnew acura trunk emblem the “A” one am thinking about shaving it and shaving the antenna what you guys think about just leaving the A-badge or should i do all of them

yeah thats whati was thinkin but i saw a older TL with just the “A” badge on the trunk and it looked really clean il test waters with it il give it a run tomorow gonna get a paint quote later today hopefully waiting for my friend to finish his laundry and give me a call

im gonna debadge it tomorow and shoot it with some primer, my buddy jeff has a dent puller and welder so we are gonna do some work on rough spots hopefully sometime this coming week will see ^^

I wish I could be able to get up and be able to do all that stuff to my car. My 90 db1 has sat around for over a year now and I just bought a 91 db1 so I can start rebuilding my old one. But now I’m stuck in the dilemma of what to do. Plus I’m short of a garage or work area plus some heavy duty tools to work on it.
But good luck to you man. A great inspiration that might give some motivation to the procrastinators like me to get up and do some work. Or maybe make some new friends with big garages like yours :rockon:

Ft Riley eh? Thats’s about half an hour away from Wichita. It’s not too bad there. Kansas is mosdef a boring place though.
yeah thats what ive heard, but also heard have a nice road course out there and dragstrip? im lookin forward to going there since my bestfriend chris is also a tanker and is stationed there and our wives get along lol so do our kids ^^
Wow have fun at Ft Knox. It is nice. My dad retired from there and we all stayed around in Radcliff. I recently moveed to lexington but it is a nice area over all.
wooh had a super fun filled morning, i was on the highway and all of a sudden the car dies… seat belt goes forward so i thought maybe battery connection everythings connected so i try and start it it started then dies and seat belt goes back forward so i figured it was my Ingition switch, and it was lol so i drove 30 miles holding the key in the on position tell i got home to tear it appart then upon gettng the colum appart saw the bolts that held in on the column and was like wtf called acura got the tip you use a hammer and a chizzle(i used a flat head) so i took it appart it was 105 for a new switch and 280 to install, since i dont got that money atm so i tore it down and cleaned off all the points put it back together and its running like a champ lol just thought i would share lol acura said it would also take an hour and a half took me 20 mins when i got home to figure it out and fix, best way to save money is to do it yourself ^^

i can get some off a parts db here localy for 40 bucks, yes the interior is black
So i shaved off the Acura and Integra emblems there was a little rust under the A on the acura emblem so i used some SEM rust-shield ive decided to keep the “A” emblem also buffed the other side and the paint looks awesome i cant wait to get it repainted
