hey guys, looking like im gonna be going with an sc60 or sc61. I want to know if anyone is running one and if you have come into any problems with it as far as fitment, block is already shaved so that shouldnt be a problem. But i would like to know if anyone else is running one, if it fit with your stock radiator, what kind of manifold you are running with it, pics if you got it, what kind of power you are putting out. thanks in advance!
what kinda of power do u want first?
looking in the range of 250-300whp, my original choice was the t3 60 trim but they are not efficient enough for this kind of power and I was told I should go with either the sc60 or sc61,probably gonna be running 10psi and see how that feels, got a good motor just dont want to overdue it and mess up my daily driver, engine is a built ls/vtec balanced so i can rev it high, im wanting to have full boost by 4-4.5k and i need it to hold til 8200
No problems with fitment here…I have a SC61. The only way you’re going to know if you have fitment problems is to decide with manifold you’re going to run.
with the sc61 you will get full boost by no later than 5k and make 300whp on 10-15psi.
awesome, i think im gonna run a log maifold so i can keep powersteering, ac is coming out pretty soon so no need for that probably gonna run 8-10psi so i think im going with this turbo, anyone else running it?

just to let you guys know that the precision sc61 can produce up to 680+ whp. Is that the kind of turbo your talking about?
~625whp is the most that anyone has gotten out of it. Precision rates them at 680 crank HP. not wheel HP.
That’s still more than enough for the horse power he’s trying to achieve.
actually, now im looking at a t3/t4 57 trim, still more power then i need, but less lag and def. less exspensive, i did some research on the precision and its really just a fancy t3/t4, too much money and too much power for me, plus i looked at the compressor maps and im pretty much out of the loop on it as well
That sounds like a perfect turbo for the horse power you want. Spools fast and way less expensive than the sc61. I have the sc61 and im going for 600whp +.
I have a t3/t4 57trim with a .63ar exhaust wheel. I make 10 psi right at 4,000rpms, and i think i got the turbo for 500 bucks
Just sold my 57trim for an SC61e but, the 57 was very nice on a stock b16.
i had a drag turbo kit with that same turbo, it went perfect with my stock b16. I ran 15lbs with a 3mm head gasket and stock ls tranny and ran 13.4 @ 111mph.
