Everytime i brake really hard. My drivers seat kinda moves. It moves a little front, a if the seat wasn’t lock into place but it is. and it makes a tick sound also. Doesn’t always happen, but when it does, it scares the sh** out of me. If there a way to fix this problem or do i gotta get some new tracks??? Thanks:clown: :clown:
A possible cause is that the locking mechanism on one of the sides is not catching onto the rail and makes the seat go forward slightly, trying to yaw the seat in the direction of the locked side.
I would remove the seat and inspect the rails, checking to make sure that there is no excess dirt or grime blocking the lock (notch) going into the defective side rail, then reinstall. If the problem persists, your suggestion of looking for a replacement rail is a sound option.
