Finally! Got her all put together (well almost) this weekend. Thanks KornyCivic for all your help. Thanks Ron (R&D, local shop) for the awesome downpipe. Here’s me entire setup.
Ron and I took it out with wideband last night after we got the downpipe done and the basemap looks pretty good, so I pushed it some today. I’m only running 7psi for now and first is a waste obviously and the top of second is a waste. The thing starts spolling at 2500rpm with 7lbs easily by 3500.
Now just need to get the dumptube made up and the EGT Gauge wired in.
BTW, thanks for the basemap xenocron, its pretty close, tuning will be a breeze!
SFP makes killer manifolds and they stand by there welds. Alot of locals run em’ and swear by them. I know personally know of a ~300hp civi hatch and a 400+ hp G3 that both run SFP mani’s.
how much power do you know? estimate?
Don’t know yet, my goals are 200whp uncorrected which will be about 250ish corrected because of our elevation sigh. If I were to guess untuned @7psi its prolly running around 200whp corrected, but who knows, my butt dyno hasn’t been calibrated in a while… :giggle:
I took it all apart to visually inspect everything after a couple days. I noted a little oil around the seals so I’m gonna drop the oil pressure some. I’m also gonna get the mani and the dp ceramic coated while its apart.
welp i just found the clutch im gonna get…thanks chuck :), have fun with the turbo, chris’s basemap is doing me good at 1bar for some reason, yay to that…ya i better change that spring haha.
I have an sfp manifold as well, so im interested to see how they hold up. Kinda makes me nervous thought, cause there was someone on hondatech just a couple of days ago that was changing out their cracked sfp manifold.
