Does anybody have any tips on how to install a short shifter. It is a generic brand off ebay. Any help would be greatly appreciated

i installed my shifter myself… this is how you do it…
go andjack the car up…
undo shift knob.
go under the car, and take off the heat shield under the shifter
there is shift linkage that you unbolt, take that off. tere shold be a bolt by the tranny, and one through the shifter
lowre the shifter an shift linkage.
take off the stock shifter and bushings ( two bushings, one by the part of the shift linkgae that is by the tranny, the other on the shifter
then go and put the urathan bushings on… u might av to cut the sides it make it go on… thats fine. … and then put everything back on.
