do i need a helmet or cage to run in the autox and how much is it to run.
Most of the timem, the clubs hosting the events have loaner helmets available. A roll cage is definitely not required. Cost depends on the region, the links in my first post should have some of that info.

I’ll be at the autox tomorrow. I’m planing on stopping by the meet for a little while on my way(out of the way) to Cal Speedway. I should be at the track between 10:30-noon.
As for stuff to bring, you could bring whatever you’d like. I usually don’t bring anything with me to the autoxes, except maybe some water or something to drink. Hope to see you out there tomorrow.
I met one member at the San Diego event today. Sorry, I forgot your name, but if you see this, it was nice meeting you and hopefully you’ll make it to the school next weekend.

doesnt course walking begin at 7:30? youre not gonna participate?
ya i dunno if i wanna go alone. id like to go with someone who knows what theyre doing and since its an hour away, maybe some tools or something just in case. also someone to man the camera

Did you end up going? My friend that I was supposed to go with had some car problems so we spent the second half of yesterday pulling his transmission and didn’t make it to the autox.

nah with the rain and everything i decided not to go. guess ill just have to wait till next season or maybe a speedtrials or something.
