[sarcasm] No, there isn’t any standard… there will always be “special” spark plugs for any car. Even if you have a GS Integra and compare it to an LS, the LS will have different spark plugs. You cannot use GS Integra spark plugs on an LS Integra! [/sarcasm]
i have those spark plugs, and they fit in my head. I have a B18A. I believe the list from the NGK site is for the vehicles that those plugs came with from the factory
How about you just put them into your teg, newschooler? Then tell everyone that they fit fine. I’ve never heard of any vehicle using any special type spark plug threads for their head unless it’s a Ferrari or some other exotic… then again I doubt they would drop by Autozone and pick up some NGK’s anyways.
then you dont know much then, maybe you shouldnt answer if you dont know
the plugs in say a Buick lesabre are different than the plugs in a Integra, or say a Grand Marquis its gonna be different than a Camaro’s plugs,or a Chevy Silverado 1500 is gonna be different than that of Dodge Neon. hmmmm i wonder why if you go to the parts store and you tell them you need a set of spark plugs, they ask what year make and model your car is and what engine, interesting.
for a example both are NGK V-Power Plugs from the NGK website
for a 93 integra 1.8L a V-power is part#ZFR5F-11
for a 97 Cadillac Deville 4.6L a V-power is part#TR55
clearly different part numbers
NGK alone just in there standard line of plugs has over 250 different part numbers.
Maybe you should get off your high horse. I clearly said “I’ve never heard,” maybe you shouldn’t quote me unless you actually read my entire post. Instead of you looking up part numbers to see what spark plug will fit in a Cadillac, you should contribute some of your effort to looking up his supplied part number and matching it with his “year make and model your car is and what engine,” now that would certaintly be interesting.
What pisses me off most is that someone that understands how “newb” of a question they’re already asking because their title states it, won’t take anyones word when they answer them back. They have to question them and ask for sources for their knowledge just because they’re too lazy to go out to their own car and see if they actually fit into the head.
GrayT maybe if you just read my first post carefully I said I’m selling them and everyone ask me if they will fit their tegs so different years, different models. Duh I can try them in my car I KNOW. But I’m trying to see where I can verify on what cars those spark plugs fit. And this info isn’t available on the NGK website.
And chunk, you can ROFL all you want but try finding the precise answer to my question with google. Good luck and props to you if you find it. I already searched with google, thats why I came here
Honestly, now that’s a question. Before it seemed like you were just giving everyone a hard time that answered your question. So with that in mind, I can’t answer your question. I’ve never needed that type of information because when I bought my spark plugs, a lot of people on G2IC recommended them for a turbo setup. So I guess since you know the part number you could search it up on here, Honda-Tech, Team-Integra, Club-Integra, or google and see if any of the results from google say anything about Hondas.

The first two hits (that I listed above) are threads on honda-tech discussing plugs in tegs. :giggle: Don’t be mad some peeps can search with google, some can’t.
I emailed them yesterday and here is the answer they gave me:
Kim,
The BKR7E fits in a 1997-1998 Aston Martin DB7. It is also a colder range version of the BKR6E, which fits mid 90’s to early 2000’s Neon’s with the 2.0L.

Spark Plug Technical Help
And I emailed the same question at another department just to see:
Hi Kim,
Part number BKR7E principle applications are the Aston Martin, ATV’s and
Motorcycles.
It does fit the 650 2000-2004 Motorcycle if that is what you are
referring to.
If you have any further questions please contact NGK again.

Looks like they aren’t aware that those plugs can work on tegs too :giggle:
