Spring suggestions? - 2.0F/1.75R 'ish drop

I want to drop my teg about 2" ish in the front and 1.75" ish in the rear (maybe even a little lower). I am not sure what springs to get cuz I am having a hard time finding spring rates on many of the them. I just have to kill that ugly freakin fender gap now!

I had the Neuspeed Sport springs last year and I loved them (Soft ride w/ good performance) - I just want to go a little lower this time.

Right now I am looking at the Supsension Tech “Speed Tech” springs cuz they are cheap and I am a poor college student. I know that the spring rates on these are 425F/215R. I am also considering the Neuspeed Race springs, Sprint, and H&R. Has anyone used these before? Does any one know the rates of these springs? The higher the rate, the stiffer the spring right? Anyone know the stock spring rates?

For know I am going to ride on stock struts w/ a “strut adjustment” ‘till I can get some perf. ones. Rollin’ oin the '99 GSR wheels too - 195/50s

All suggestions will help!!!

Re: Spring suggestions? - 2.0F/1.75R 'ish drop

According to the info that used to be on b17a.com, Neuspeed race are 500F/450R, and H&R race are 400F/280 something in the rear. Rumor has it that sprint springs are bad, although I have no personal experience with them. I would say definately don’t get Neuspeed race with stock shocks. Before I bought my car I test drove a teg with this setup and the ride absolutely sucked. I recently switched from skunk2 coilovers to H&R race springs and am really happy with my setup. I would also suggest getting bigger tires, either 205/50 or 195/55. Both of those are the correct size for our cars and will help you get rid of the wheel gap.

isnt stock 450/350? i think a while back i was helping a friend install the st and i was able to bend and squeeze the springs with my bare hands. pretty funny. they’re thin and soft and now that you mention the spring weights, it all makes sense now.

all i can add is the neuspeed race’s are really stiff, and eibach sportlines are really soft. havent used h&r yet, but id invest in only these three. suspension is my focus cuz its the most apparent thing that stands out to me when i drive, except audio hehe
