its most likely blown. Time to get it replace. Now is a good time to invest in some performance shocks. Koni and tokico are some good, but expansive brands to look at. Or you could always go with OEM .
Yep.
Struts and shocks wear out very gradually it’s hard for owner to detect when they are shot.
Mine was the same way and I had the guy whom I bought tires from told me that my struts were shot. He pointed to the cup wears on tires as the result of bad struts.
I just installed kyb gr2 on my car and boy what a difference. If money is tight, I would recommend these struts.
i dont think its my shocks, cuz they still dampen the road oscillations, the car isnt bouncing all over the place
i think it is a bushing or something like that that is wearing down and rubbing. or could it maybe be a bad ball joint.
please help
Check your springs. Are they OEM springs? If so, they could have rusted or chipped off some to where they are rubbing the shock. It happened to my front driver shock on my sedan.
thanks, i will be putting it on a hoist later today to find the actual problem. at least this gives me somewhere to start
every side squeeks when i push down on it on my car
how much are struts anyway?
