After rebuilding my engine in the late summer/fall I’ve got most of the components for my boost project and am now installing
them in my spare time. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any suggestions.
I got if from B18C1CYA from honda-tech. He had two that he had made and was selling both. It seems really nice yet i’ve never seen another one up close… Forgot the turbo is a t3/t4 50/63 57trim
the manifold is beautiful. i im also planning on running that same turbo on my setup. it should rip pretty damn good. can i ask where you got the turbo?
Hit me up at mricketts@iplatforminc.com and I will hook you up with a kick ass program for a LS motor with 450cc injectors. I had a LS with Eagle rods and forged pistons at stock compression with a T3 turbo from a stock grand National. With the basic bolt ons that made over 300whp. If your interested I will give you a complete run down of the setup and where to set your timing and basefuel pressure.
That sounds sweet Mike. I was going to see if anyone had a tuned program for the zdyne when I got to that point. I have the zdyne hooked up and the car runs but not to smoothly as the only programs they have are for a b16 which I thought would be slightly different. I posted all the details of my build on the motor here.
Looks almost as if you should rotate the compressor housing more straight up so its a perfect 90 degree bend to the IC pipping. I have mines the same way.
wut kind of turbo?..im tryin to peice a kit together and lookin for a little over 300. almost had a tdo5h but iwaited too long and someone snagged it.
You’re right it is slightly cocked towards the block and needs to be straitened out. Have not started to hook up the pipes as I need a few things first.
I got it from turbo calculator :hmm: . I’m half expecting it to blow up as I heard one other member say he had problems after I had purchased it. Well I suppose we’ll see what happens and I’ll post results and problems once all is up and running.
would it be necessary for you to run a longer bolts with a nut on the other end for the four that connect the manifold to the turbo? I am just wondering since in my thinking they would want to back out with the pressure and weight they carry. just looking out for ya
