Ok so I just noticed this joker left me negative feedback for being “impatient”. Neil if you read this can I have this edited? I don’t think it’s fair that after a couple months of him holding my money, I get labeled with a negative, and he still has yet to send me my parts.
I believe When Neil ban someone, he ban their IP.
did he ever ban him? doesn’t look like he did

Look at his posts… in the WTB section. Thats how he scammed me when I posted a WTB. I lost 150 to this guy and he just disappeared. Ive learned a lesson from this. Fuck it makes me so mad that some people are this low. Karmas a bitch.

If anybody is close he lives in Kitchener, Ontario and his name is Nick Vandecar
Sounds like a real bitch. It does suck that some people are that willing to rip of someone else for a few bucks.
I guess this is the reason why peeps in Canada don’t want to ship to the U.S. because of Customs issues and money exchange issues.
Unless you know what your dealing with and understand that when dealing with a different country expect delays and red tape. Its always good to talk with the postal office on what is needed in order to ship parts to Canada. Canada and U.S. have increased their regulation and have become more strict on what your sending or even receiving. Don’t take the sellers word for the amount of money you are agreeing…if you deal make sure the seller understands that you are making a deal in American rather than trying to work with a bank to change to CDN money. The seller can go to his bank and get the u.s. money exchanged to CDN.
However, if someone is fraudulent and or not keeping their word Then something should be done, especially when you have this many people logging a complaint. or if the seller can just man up and say, alright I understand I received 90-95% of the funds as a sign of good faith I’ll just send it rather than having to fight over small change. On the other hand too if money mailed is non-negotiable its like sending monopoly money…its just not going to work.
Where my issue came in is that I paid in full, what he was asking. I’m a bit upset because I got ripped off, and then threatened because after months I had not seen my items. It’s been pretty close to a year now. And as far as shipping goes, it’s really not that bad. I’m a vendor now, and not to long ago I shipped a rather large intercooler over to a G2 member in Canada. It took a bit longer then it would have if it were shipped to the states yes. But all in all was a very easy transaction.
On the plus side, it’s because of people like him that I started DarkStar Tuning. I got tired of being lied to, or jerked around and wanted to help other enthusiasts get what they needed as quickly as possible, and to leave them happy with the experience. This should never happen to anybody. This is the kind of stuff that makes people feel others are untrustworthy. If people like Jaysteven didn’t exist things would get done much faster and people would overall live happier lives. While I can’t bring myself to forgive him, I do appreciate the boost to start my own business.
All i wanted was manual seatbelt pillar trim. We agreed on price as well as shipping to the USA, he sent me a paypal money request and he took my money and never replied. Because he set up the money request i cant fight it because he set it to something other than goods or services. Sent him many replies asking for my money back and was ignored. $130 down the drain. its been a few months.
That’s exactly what our deal was for. Only got me for $110 though. Tried for another $180 to “expedite” the shipping. Yeah…
