anyone know anything about installing decks in toyotas…i pulled out the stock deck and tried to hook up the sony cd and for some reason no power is going through the wires…i checked it with a continuity light and notta…please help
Where exactly is there no power going to. The Sony plug or from the Toyota harness?
i really don’t know what the deal is…i’m just gonna take it to cartoys and let them mess with it…thanks anyway
Toyota’s are one of the easiest cars to work with, if you have any problems with wiring it, message me and I will help, that is assuming you haven’t taken it to Car Toys.
I assume that yo blew a fuse while messing with the harness with the battery connected… Replace the fuse on the back of the headunit (maybe 5A). If not, you blew a fuse on the car’s panel. Check for the RADIO/HORN fuse.
no big deal… just pull the negative cable from the battery next time first… If you did that, sorry…

Can you ease my mind and let me know what the problem was?? Was it a blown 15A fuse in the kickpanel or the 5A in the back of the deck? I am curious for sure.
