does anyone know what the stock specs for the timming on a 91 rs???

16deg. BTDC at 750RPM plus/minus 50RPM.

technically its an interval. so 16 deg +/- 2 deg. So anywhere in between 14-18deg btdc and you’re ok. however going as high at as 18 may cause detonation depending on the gas you’re running.

I suggest 89 octane on a stock 91 B18A RS. The reason being is that over the years, there is a good possibility that the piston collected some carbon, varnish, etc. This thin layer of crud increases your compression ratio slightly. I suggest running a simple compression test. Stock 91 B18A RS should be around 184psi.
