hey intrested in getting some adjustable coilovers for my da. i was just wondering what would be the best brand to get for my car?
It is all in how much you want to spend. They start around $200 for just some sleeves, upwards of $10k for some 4 way motons. You tell use how you want to spend then we can tell you what is the best in that price range.
im looking in the price range of 1000 dollars. i was looking at the skunk2 adjustables and they seem in a good price range for me. i mean im only 17 and money is short cuz school cuts off my work hours. but i want something that rides nice and can bring my car down lower than it is.
wowww…shoot for a G i would say buy skunk everything…u might as well get the camber kit and sway bars n da whole setup

ok sounds good. does skunk2 give a good ride cuz it is my DD but i do drive it pretty hard. i was on skunk2.com and i couldnt find the front camber kit for a DA?

no i work after school and on the weekends at 10.50 an hour so money isnt hard to come by. on the skunk2 adjustable coilovers is it advised to use stock shocks and struts? Or should i buy aftermarket shocks and struts? i was also thinking if i save up a little more buy the full adjustable coilovers with the shocks and shocks all included?
I personally would not invest $1000 into coilovers, and then put them on stock struts/shocks. I think a better option would be to replace the stock shocks with something like the Koni yellows or Tokico illuminas, and then pick a sleeve that gives you the adjustability you’re looking for. Skunk 2, Eibach, tein, theres quite a few to choose from.
well the skunk2 adjustable are only 250 for the set i believe. and would it be good to put stock struts and shocks on or should i just get like some koni yellows are tokicos?
If you’re price range is $1000, why not just get koni yellows/GC coilovers? You do it once and forget about it…

well 1000 is the highest will go. but if i can get good quality springs and shocks for cheaper than 1000 then i would like to go that route.
For $1k I would go with either Function and Form type2’s or the ever popular ground control sleeves and koni yellow’s… I have had the first version of the type2’s for almost 2 years and love them.

All four. But I’d check the sponsor section of this website as well as Honda-tech.com There are often sponsors who have discounted prices on GC, or even GC / Koni combos… Definitely worth looking into. No Limit Motorsports, JLB Motorsports and Weaksauce come to mind.
oh well thats a pretty good price. haha i thought it was for two i was thinking it was pricy. i was on the tokicos website and they didnt tell me how much the illuminias cost.
Alright heres a question. If your gonna spend $1K on something why not buy a set of Tein’s? Just buy a Super Street setup for like $8-$900. Just my HO.
get the skunk2 pro series coilovers for about $600. i got mine for like $580. i have that on my dd and rides good and stiff.
right now i have:

em racing rear tower bar
skunk2 lcas
it is pretty stiff and bouncy, but bouncy in a good way. in the near future i plan to get a asr rear subframe brace with the sway bar.
the full adjustable coilovers? for 800? thats a good price cuz i was looking on there and they werelike 1100.
yeah, im talking about the pro-s not the pro-c. the pro-c is adjustable dampening as well.
