Synsei's slow build. 56K ask for a raise.

Ahhh. Another bass player. Stay in the groove man.

First coat of clear is flashing as we speak. Pics in a few.

Ok. Well I was feeling froggy today and decided to knock out my bay. My lighting wasnt the best so some of the coverage was a little light in a couple of spots. Easy fix. Also had a couple of runs in the second coat of clear. But my motto is : “Better too wet than too dry.” It’s sick how it looks really maroonish in the shade. Nevermind the overspray on the crossmember and looming. The crossmember is getting shot matte or low-gloss black, and I’m re-looming the harness. I had some reaction on the core support, so that will get re-shot as well.

Here it is with the basecoat

Then some clear. I’m pretty sure I was high when I took this pic

The reflection of the foil made this picture (below) look weird

Til next time.

sick fuckin color.

haha makin ur garage into a hotbox?

that color is sick, i thought it would be alot more orange. im glad it came out more red. are my eyes tricking me or is there a huge dent in the passanger wheel well.

I was worried that it was TOO red until I shined a fluorescent light on it. The copper comes out way more. I thought that dent was factory. I tried looking for pics of that side on other DA’s but gave up after a few tries. The light really brings it out. I figured I’d leave it alone since I had to second guess myself in the first place.

So here’s what I was talking about. The first pics look really red so I took a couple more to show how it changes.

In direct light

Medium light

In shade

This one is blurry but it shows the copper

I love this color.

very very nice

Thanks.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. I hadnt held a paint gun in almost 4 years, so I’m glad it turned out well.

Lookin good man. any progress on that fuel line.

Man…Shit looks damn good, and its only the engine bay. I cant wait to see the rest of the car. Keep up the good work!

Good progress man! you really brought life back into this integra. Lets see some shots of the whole car!

Lookin good man. any progress on that fuel line.

I think I have a solution for it. It involves some ss tubing and an in-line fuel filter.

i was looking for info on replacing the stock fuel filter with an inline one. my intake kind of rests on top of it since its relocated. what filter do you plan on using?

Havent decided yet. Check this write-up for some good info though.
