hey guys situation here:
I’m doing as little project with some aftermarkets tail lites(Not altezzas!!!) anyway, the gasskets in these are like gone; I called the “local acura dealer” and they charging like $25 (50 bucks!!!:shock: ) for each gasket!! Can anybody PLEASE tell me where can I find some cheaper than this??? thanks.

Ask member LL COOL B… he sells a lot of tail lights in the for sale forums, so he might just have extra gaskets lying around!
www.ahmotor.com like 24/piece. that’s as good as you’re gonna get new pretty much. some dealerships charge over 30-40 bucks. w/ an employee discount at acura they are still over 20 bucks each.

Sure, I could probably get you that price if you come up to Seattle to get them
Take my advice on this… Dont go cheap on the gaskets. If you get cheap ones or bargain hunt for aftermarket ones they will probably leak. Go to that acura automotive parts site and get a price from them. They have awesome prices.

yeah that sounds about right… i think i paid like 20-30 bucks or so for both… i had two sets… but i’m giving one to Rob 
i was thinking of the exhaust tailpipe things… those were 24 bucks each.
I could hook people up, but they would have to come to Portland the one time a year that i actually go down there… hehehehe
ok guys i understand all that but like I said: $25 a piece is a little… well I’m not in that big of a hurry; they just something I’m playing with; by the way “92” and “BR” I could make a trip up there… I work for an airline so distance is not a problem;)

haha… okay… you’ll have to ask BR. My connection is in Portland, and i live in Seattle… so don’t get down there often.
HAHA…not in a hurry. I hope it doesn’t rain. I just gutted my car and I found that i get water in the trunk some times. The other day is poured for hours. I had 2 inches deep of water in my trunk. It all came in from the one taillight that I took the rotting gasket off of. I have plans to get new ones monday, but wouldn’t you know it rained yesterday. :mad: Anyway I am just wasting time. Oh and I bought gaskets once before and the dealer around me charged me $40 out the door for both. Not too bad I guess…
