Talon or Eclipse turbo?

Does anyone know for sure any downfalls to running an Eclipse or Talon turbo? They were 1.8l engines so I figure it should match our engines airflow perfect. What do you guys think? I want to just make a reliable 6-10 psi. Not a drag car, just a decent street car. Oh and this would be on a B18A, and maybe later a B16A. Ideas please…

Wrong, they are 2.0L and the 1G DSM motors have the 14B torbo which in IMO would be the better choice than a 2G’s.

Also, the DSM’s engines flow a LOT more air than the B18’s.

I thought the 1st gens were a 1.8l but I just checked it out and you are right. So, it sounds like the downside would be a turbo setup that developed boost too late. Is that right? So running 14b is not a good idea?

No, I think the 14B with our stock CR should be OK, remember, the 1G DSM’s motor had ~7.5:1 CR.
