# tanabe racing medallion silencer rattle

hey I have a tanabe rm and when I put my silencer in it tends to rattle between 2-3000 rpm any suggestions

I had that same problem. My temp fix was i wrapped the large end of the silencer with electrical tape. That took up the gap and prevented the silencer from buzzing. Also recently I left the silencer behind my car and accidently ran over it. After bending the outer ring straight again with some pliers, it fits nice and tight and doesnt rattle.
