ohh yea, the left fender… yea, i lowered my car more after paint, and as i was at a honda dealership picking up some parts, i was backing up, and hit a little dip, and it caused my front wheel to grab the fender & it yanked it a little… cut up parts of my tire too…
well at least you answered colin when he asked…he failed at description, i posted the pic of it and get no love. thanks kev
you’ve come a long way. Volvo is extra gangsta… I <3 Cali Cars
i think i have some old pics of this thing on my old computer. if i can find them, i’m going to post them up.
car has come a LONG way, Kev. keep up the good work. how long have you had the carbon fiber hatch?
btw, if you have a second, shoot me an email on a few good steps for restoring a faded Carbon Fiber hood. a local shop quoted me at $450 to repair it, and i said F that. for that kind of money, i could buy a brand new one.
email: jake870621345@hotmail.com
btw, its not my first time into doing paint/bodywork. i’ve done some minor stuff, here and there. just not sure about carbon fiber, with the resin on the hood when they come from the factory.
enough thread jacking. love the car, and it looks absolutely beautiful. 3rd pic is my current desktop background.
NINJA EDIT
tell Daniel to quit being a wankster and “un-quit” the internet. :giggle:
i would assume you should just buy a new one. id figure shipping to and fro plus whatever it takes to paint it will approach the same figure you’ve been quoted. just a common sense thought though. ignore me.
hahahaha sorry rob… <3
yeah, i could but i don’t really feel like shelling out the money for the new one, when i could probably fix it for well under half of that. even if i do buy a new one, i’m going to sand it down and do a good clearcoat on it, so it will last longer than it would have in the first place.
appreciate the input, though.
IDJIT EDIT
didn’t know who the response was intended for.
ok, i just rolled that bit & some around it of the fender now…
Any Interior shots?
Dope car man…looks way better than the primered look.

yes, same crew… VA, FL, WA, several other states also…
What intake is that? DC2?
looks like an aftermarket DC2 intake arm, and an OEM DC air box. i love the look of a retrofitted DC2 setup
I’ve been looking for a stock intake arm for quite a while now… this sucks.
Car is amazing though
Looking good Kev.
Dan’s pictures came out flawless!
