TEGY92 aztec green DB2 story/build

It has brakets

the beaks has brackets on both ends. i think it has to do with the bolts from the ASR. i had an explicitspeed rear lower tie bar,but couldnt bolt on the ASR maybe the beaks will work. hope it does work for you.

dude I really hope and wish u the best of luck with the build! your truly blessed!

wish I had the money,… my RS would be completely rebuilt by now :’(

I think i need bigger bolts thats it

Decide to replace the 22 years old speakers with some new

Time for a lil carwash with the future owner

Just receive the front upper and lower control arm bushing

So I been working a lot and really haven’t had time to work on the gsr but this weekend im off and decided to put on some work

so I got a set of Gsr blades (I love the way the look on 2gen teg) they where a lil ruff but I put on some work and sand them down and polish them… they came out pretty good

and is love bug season in Florida so is time for the front mask and bra

I will be putting on all the suspension pieces on Sunday and lowering it :lock: I will take some pics and post them up for u guys

Just now took the time to read through your incredible story on yor purchase…while drinking a gallon of HATERADE! Yeah, I’m hating, more jealous than anything. But seriously, I’m very happy for you and your hard determination on your DB2 purchase. Most importantly, you are doing a rare, sought after vehicle some justice. I’m just jealous cause you got the brains of Jodi Foster and the body of Kim Kardasian sitting in your garage. I can’t get any kind of luck to see a GS-R floating near me, no less have the funds ready for immediate purchase. Not only that, you low balled to save even more! Lucky dog you. Very happy for ya.
Thank the 2nd gen Gods that you did not purchase some cheap knock offs (though the two you were interested in were pretty nice). I reserve knock offs for any other model, but the GS-R should only have the best. Sometimes you just have to spend that much more to insure the quality of your labor and those Work wheels would for surely compliment your ride. I love the XXR 530 wheels but saved that much more for some rare 16x8 inch Racing Hart Type-C for my LS and it makes me feel proud on my decision. I constantly get compliments on such a choice. I think you should consider those Works
Also, good job on the limitation of aftermarket work under the hood. The B17 is a rarity as well, but you already know this. Beautiful car and great looking set of kids you have TEGY92! I will be following up on your project.

thank you man I appreciate your input… and yea for sure I"m not putting any cheap knock off part or wheels here, and the engine bay is staying intact I already had a few friends wanting me to start digging into it but I’m not having any of it lol lol

so I put in some work this weekend and got the suspension set up on the car ( no lift or power/air tools) some of the bolts where pretty hard to get loose

before I got started I took the last pic of the stock height

getting ready

in the air

before

after ( function&form ) (skun2 camber kit) ( rotors and pads )

Cusco bar (I love it )

it bolts into the inner part of your front LCA’s

ST sway bar and all the bushings

rear LCA’s and F&F

I put the ASR on but then the beaks and the rear ST sway bar would not fit properly so I had to take it out :frowning:

and here’s the finish product without the asr

now is time for a much needed alignment

At honda getting the alignment done

Nice ride but PLEASE put the emblem back where it is supposed to go!

I will I just haven’t really pay that much attention to it , but I promise I will get it done. now that so many people have mention it is starting to bother me a lil LOL

What’s the best way to do it without messing up the paint
