TEGY92 aztec green DB2 story/build

A lil distraction on the build … Getting my half sleeve done

I’ve been following your build. Good to see another db2 in great condition with great mods and original documents. I’m jealous though. I wish I had the original documents and extra $ to do my db2 justice like what you are doing to yours. My agp db2 originated from Miami. I’m the third owner. Bought it back in 2012 with 160k mi on the clock. All stock. Still for the most part all stock. Fresh $4800 paint in 2012, New timing belt, throw out bearing and clutch. I’m running some si’s right now. My goal is to restore with mild upgrades and install rare oem usdm/jdm options and features. Curious to know where did you find those mirror visors?

thanks man… i found them on ebay one nigth searching for bull shit … they where like $3 from china lol they work extremely good thought and they have last me try seaching for it on ebay they probably still sale them they mold to any style of mirror

Here’s some pics of the car

Damn this looks good

thank you

What tools/equipment and prices did you use to wet sand and polish your blades? I want to do the same for my si’s.

very clean db2 sir! i must of missed this info. but what year did you get the “all weather” trunk mat from? exploded view/picture please!

It looks like the one I have in my 05 TSX. Check this link out

is an 04 tsx … is the one from the link redrocket post it

wet sand paper and Mother’s metal polish with a red ball they sale at auto parts that goes into a power drill ( start with 400 then go up to 800, 1000, 1500 then 2000 wet sand paper) then apply the polish 3 or 4 coats ) pretty easy just time consuming

thinking about selling it, any takers?

You’ll regret it. I went through it once and had to buy my current db2 after a almost 10 year hiatus. I always thought I would find something better that would keep my attention, but nothing ever did.

took some measurements
[/QUOTE] You mind telling me what exactly the measurements were that you used to get that in the right spot? I’m trying to add an e85 ethanol badge to mine and would like to get it as close to that spot as possible. Thanks

the new suspension is amazing men no complains here… rides smooth and good on the corners, I will upgrade the springs on the F&F for a better spring rate ones down the road but they are good for now

I feel same about my F&F’s

Did you adjust the height at all on the f&f or thats how she sit straight out the box?

I want the hood pad where do I find that?
