I just got a brand new radiator, water pump put in the car and when I mess around with VTEC I am seeing my temp guage rise and stay around HOT until i stop and give it a break. What else could this be? Its a jdmB16a if that matters. This needs to be fixed cause I cant stand not using my VTEC brothers!!!
you either don’t have enough coolant (duh) and water or you have air in the system. bleed it and try again. see helms for further info.
what do you mean messin w vtech do you have a vtech controller? instead of having an egr they use the cam to leave the exhaust valve open just a tad during the intake stroke to allow inert gases to re enter the combusion chamber to cool it. maybe that has something to do with it ?
