Thanks!

i’ve been thinking & looking at pics of da’s w/ lambo doors. you know what i think would look tight as fuck?

a db1 w/ front lambo doors & the rear as suicide doors!..maybe it’s just me but it sounds nice…it would definitley include hardcore cutting, welding, & customizations…i still would love to see it done

its just you :tsk:

i’d rather have my penis removed then torture myself seeing this done to a db1 (or any car for that matter)

Oh wow… Thats alittle to much. Penis removal over a car.

Im very passionate… what can I sasy

you should get it done slacker… then we’ll tell you how it looks :whisper: :gotrice:

Well i haven’t checked up on this thread in some time. I finally washed the car for the first time in about a month, so i decided i’d snap a couple pics. And with the pics, i’ve noticed i REALLY need to lower the front to even out with the rear. Let me know what you guys think.

yeah… slam the front! those rims OWN

Why is the front lower then the back??? Those wheels, no matter how baller they are… are way to big.

Yeah the wheels are big, but it’s all in my preference. I’ve had everything from the stock 14’s, to 15’s, and 16’s, and this is my second set of 17’s. The car suprisingly rides much better on the 17’s than any other size wheel and tire. About the ride height, well there’s all kinds of shit in the trunk cause it is my daily and i’m a college student, and the fact that i just haven’t cleaned it out in a little while. That and the rear just sags a little. Nothing a set of coilovers won’t fix though!

i like the 17s too man…keep what u want…i’d get 17" slips on my DC if i could, but i’m too low. ur car is lookin better than ever IMO

Appreciate it bro! I think the pictures do it better justice than it really is tho. The block’s got 202K miles on it and the body really isn’t in the best condition. But it gets me the 100 miles a day that i drive to and from school.

17in wheels are too big for our cars…16s are the biggest I’d go.
15s are perfect.

very true…

stock, even with bolt ons…our cars can barely move 16s let alone 17s

thats everyones opinions man, u cant go around just because ur in love w/ 16s/15s that everyone else should. i kno 16s on my car is the biggest i can go b/c of how low i am. if i go 17" polished slips…it wont work…but he’s workin those 17s like a man.

not to mention it is a 4dr, so it gives him even more ‘credibility’ to wear 17s

hey looks like my car with a 92-93 front bumper and cf hood and different wheels…and better paint…and an oem antenna…and a headliner…and DA suspension…and :argh:

Thanks for all the comments good and bad. And i understand what you guys are talking about with the big wheels, but like i said, i’ve had a couple different sets of 15’s and 16’s. Even though the front of the car sits higher, with the 15’s i drug the whole underbody! Not just the exhaust! The 16’s were nice, but just like the 15’s, i had WAY too much camber wear! I mean like going through a set of tires in a couple months! Keep in mind this is my daily driver. So i settled with the 17’s again since they have NO CAMBER WEAR WHATSOEVER!! And with this size of tires i like not having to buy new ones every couple of months.

And the springs i’m on are Neuspeed Race springs. They’re a good 5-6 years old so i think the weight in the back may be causing them to start to sag. So that may be another factor.

Don’t get me wrong. Look wise, 17s can look good, especially on a sedan. I was referring to when it comes to the get go, nothing beats a nice light set of 15s with a good set of tires. This wasn’t an opinion…it’s a fact.
