Friday 5/12/17

I ordered some new tires for Tor2ga. First time buying a pair of Achilles ATR-K Sport. There 215/50/15. Its my first running this size, normally i go with 205/50/15 or 16 so lets see how i like them. I won’t be getting them until i go down to my hometown in Pasadena, CA. My cousin grabbed them for me to save me some cash on shipping. I’ll also be picking up a new set of wheels to go with the Tor2ga. Something that i think will go nicely with it since I’m trying to keep it era specific/period correct. Stay tuned.

Saturday 5/13/17

I added the longer bolts so i can use the struts to hold up the latch. I’m happy with the outcome.

Monday 5/15/17

Woke up feeling pretty crapy, so i called in sick and stayed home today, but i hate staying in so i went to the junkyard and found the retainers, rubber cover, and holders i needed to complete my headlights. (They came off an EG)

All of these are clean builds! Where did you find the brackets to mount your recaro seat when you had your GSR? I saw you said they were custom, and I’m having trouble finding brackets to mount mine. Thanks!

Thanks man! Yeah they were custom made by my buddy. They were stock DA rails with stock dc2 rails. he Fabbed them up and all.

So the other day I was on the local FB page here in UT and some dude was selling a vision front strut bar (EF) and a Spoon Sports Front strut bar (EG) for super steal price so i purchased them and I’m giving one of them to my cousin so he can lower the price on the wheels I’m getting from him. The spoon might got on my brothers DA if it fits if not it might be for sale. I’ll get pictures of them tomorrow.

Today 5/18/2017, I got off work a bit late, but after that I went over to my buddies shop, thats been working on a few days to get his body shop up and running again, and we decided to throw my brand new JDP CF Lip. My front end still looks crappy but it looks a tad bit better now. I’ll get better pictures tomorrow.

Here’s some small updates. I added brand new pedal covers, now my foot won’t be slipping when my soles are wet.

It’s been a while since i’ve updated the thread. I’ve been working a ton lately and was out on vacation for a week back in my hometown of Pasadena California. I’ve picked up a few parts.

@DAnny88, how are the Vision front strut bar working out? Also, can you let me know where you purchased it from? I have been looking for Neuspeed front strut bar without any luck, so I might go with Vision front strut bar.

@BigSung I enjoy it very well. I’m still running it with ABS and it clears it. Its a bit of a snug fit but it works. I have a Vision strut bar for sale if you’re interested. Email me and i can send you pictures. dannyvee.ca@gmail.com

So I had the M7’s installed a few weeks ago. I just need new tires before I install them, unless I use the Achilles for them mean time? Regardless, winter is coming and i’ll have to store it for a few months.

I flew down to California on October 28th, for Joey Lee’s The Chronicles Year9 meet. Met a ton of people who I knew on Social Media, FB, IG etc. It was cool putting faces to these cars and their owners. I met most of the Southern and Northern Californias DA’s. Here are a few pictures of the meet.

All the DA’s and DB2’s gathered behind Eibach and took some shots together. Hands down one of the best Meets! I plan on working on my GS-R and taking it down for Year10.

I finally dismounted the tires off the M7’s and cleaned them up.

and this is after I clean them. I also gave them a light polish with Mothers Powercone, and Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish. I’ll soon be getting the missing emblems soon, or might be one of the last things I get.

I also managed to pick up a new/used Mugen Racing III Steering wheel, thank to the homie Ollie.
