reverse glow gauges look nice…
but i prefer white gauges… they look nice…
i just wanna replace the bulb in the back… but still… it’s purdy…
i have the reverse gauges that only the numbers light up. i like them a lot, and think they look really good. i kind of dont like the old school ones where the whole thing lights up though. they are kind of too bright in my opinion. all the newer ones are cool though:up:
Heres mines…these are the 1st Gen AC Reverse Indiglo Gauges that came out a few years ago…the newer ones have the Red Line and Low Gas Gauge lit up unlike mines. A major difference to the all blue gauges I used to have…less strain on the eye balls…

I recently installed white/indiglo faces (tip o’ the hat to lowlowteggy) and like them a lot. I prefer the white face during the day to the stock black face, as the black markings on white seem easier to read than white on black. Had I not wanted indiglo, I still would have gone with a white face solution, I like them that much.
My faces are pure indiglo with black text/markings, unlike the style that have numbers/markings that glow. The indiglo is nice, I prefer all glow vs. just numbers - just be sure you get a setup with a dimmer switch as they can (and do!) glow very bright. I have mine adjusted to about 75% brightness, and they’re still plenty easy to read. If they were locked at 100% (or didn’t have a dimmer switch) they could get really annoying really quick… esp. if you take long trips at night

I was iffy about the reverse’s at first…I had seen many a regular indiglo’s and they were WAY to bright for my liking as I do a lot of driving at night.
Mine have a dimmer but I have them turned up almost all the way. I have no problem seeing my needles. You can’t see it in the pics but the face itself lights up a little as well when they’re on.

i’ve recieved many compliments on them. i like most of them(gauges) for our cars anyway.
I’ve been thinking about replacing mine and those look really nice Gigarange. What kind are they?
gigarange, what brand are those… and how do you see the needles?? did you keep the lights on top of the gauge cluster?? i currently have the old ghetto apc indiglos and i’m worried about the visibility of the needle with the reverse indiglos… thanks…
Here’s what I have right now. It’s all stock but i just painted the lip around the gauges and the needles with red model paint. All the bulbs in the back and above are painted red with candy apple paint as well. here’s a pic of it at night with them on:

should i go with some reverse indiglos or just stay with what i have?

I tried to get some like Gigarange but were on backorder so I got these “silver face” glow guages thought they were the same but ended up looking like poo so I sent them back.
What brand are those Gigarange? did you get them online?
Gigarange: do you know if they make these for a 92gsr? I cannot find the reverse indiglo for g2 gsr argh!!
