hey whats up, ive just got a timing gun, i have the thought that my timing could be off, anyway, ive read my book, and it says all that suff about the emmisons control stuf…and plugging hoses…im a bit confused on what vacumme lines…and do have to follow all of that? and , also to see the markers, do i take Front left wheel and the inner fender cover? or could i do it from overhead, any tips, it was to cold to try this morning hahah

When i did mine, i did not plug any lines. i am not sure how important that is. i followed the procedure described in teg tips and it worked well for me. as for the markers, if you look in from overhead between the motor mount and ps pump, you will see a plastic protrusion kinda like a knife edge on your timing cover that leads down to the crank pully. this is your mark. position yourself so you are looking directly down this edge (like if you were pointing a knife away from you and you could just see the thickness of the blade). point your gun down there and watch for the notches in the pully.
