head that is… i’m putting a b18b in my teg. the engine is just the short block right now. i have both a b18b head and a b20b head available. both have the same mileage and both are around the same price. only, the b18b is about 5 miles from me and the b20b is about 5 states from me. i would like to have my engine installed by 1 1/2 weeks from now. should i get the b20b or stay with the b18b? if any, what advantages would the b20b head have over the b18b head?

They are the same. Get the one 5 miles from you.
there’s a difference in the valve covers… the b20b’s don’t have breather boxes, (the black box connected near the coolant tube on the block), instead that hose on the b18a IM connects to the top of the valve cover of the b20b. I think it would be easier to just get the b18a head to avoid the problem of the extra hole on the top of the valvecover… assuming the head is coming with the valvecover.
