Turbo Manifold

I read around, and my friend said that G2s have a few problems with the mani clearing stuff under the hood, i’m just seeing which one you guys are running and if you guys have any clearence issues what so ever?

I have an RS (Base) No options, only thing i hve is like Power steering (I’m only assumin gbecuase it doesn’t feel like a work out everytime i drive at low speeds.)

i’ll be running a t3/t4 hybrid turbo. so I don’t know how that will go.

I’ll probably go with alog type manifold with external wastegate. I don’t feel like I need to spend 2-4x the amount of money for an ‘equal length’ and ram horn style and such manifolds. for the power level i wanna throw out (200 - 250whp I know its a big jump, but we’ll see…)

if you guys can post some pictures, what type of manifolds/turbos you guys are running, intercooler set up, running a hafl rad or not? if you had to modify your bumper and such?

Thanks in advance,

steve-o

Im running an sfp manifold. I dont have a/c, put i kept my power steering. Fittment was pretty good. I had to notch the block a little to fit the t3/t4, and im running a 12" slim fan up front on the stock radiator. I got a bad pic of it.

Running an inline pro…my compressor touched the block a touch too so I had to notch.

Kept PS and removed A/C although I think I could have kept it…

i’m using love-fab shorty manifold and i also had to shave the block…i removed my a/c just because… :stuck_out_tongue:
my buddy bought the bmc log manifold and we didn’t have to shave the block and he gets to keep his passanger side fan…

SFP, no A/C, no PS, removed both stock fans, no clearance issues. Note my T3 is opposite how you see most setups (filter on driver side).

chunk your setup looks very clean

Anyone who kept PS and A/C?

    Thanks!
