I will be wrapping up the turbo project in the next couple weeks and I am having Chris(Xenocron) do the chipping for me. I was wondering if there is any people in the Minnesota area (Minneapolis, St. Paul) that knows how to tune, and would be willing to teach me. I have a laptop and can get a wideband from my buddy, but I don’t have a chip burner yet.
spend some time on PGMFI.org, you will learn all you need to know about getting started on tuning. I got my burner for like $55, so I say you should just learn it and do it yourself, its pretty cool.
I found one person here from the Minnesota Sport Compact forum, but he wants like 200 for the session. So maybe we need to get togather and learn our software.
Yes it is. I am not going to pay what he wants to do it though. I can go to elite and for one hour on the dyno is 140, and I will have some numbers afterwards to.
Yeah, as much as I like Cray and he is an asset on HMT, he is in way over his head. I know for a fact he doesnt know TE very well and I get some of his customers who come to me after they go to him for help with Uberdata (and im not an Uberdata expert).
Best to learn to do it yourself or team up with someone local for sure.
I think I will go rent some time on the dyno and do it myself so I have the experience, Thanks Chris you have been very helpful and the ECU looks great. I will recommend you to anyone. I also left some feedback for you.
