i put the b16 vtec into my teg now it has a problem. When the vtec kicks in the cams sound like there making a grinding noise or something in the engine sounds like it is, and the engine misses when the car is driving and there is a load on the engine. if im sitting still in neutreul i can rev the car to redline with no problems but when a load is put on the engine in gear it misses and looses power and also makes a grinding type of noise when the vtec kicks in someone please help thanks ---

just a thought but it sounds like a fuel problem either + or - the correct amount of fuel. In neutral there is no real demand for fuel. But in gear trying to turn the tires and push a car down the road is another story ---

Could be Timing as well… I would check timing first…
