Weapon R seat bracket issues

So a while back I picked up some old school Bride seats for a decent price and have been slowly working on getting them mounted to the car properly. I got a set of universal sliders that need modifying (I’m okay with that because they’re clearly claimed as universal) and a set of the Weapon R seat brackets for 90-93 Acura Integras. The brackets line up on 3 out of 4 bolt holes well enough but the aft inboard mount of the bracket is about 3/4 of an inch to far to the center of the car as well it’s completely flat and runs parallel to the floor pan. Did I get the wrong brackets shipped to me or is this how they come for our cars? I never knew mounting seats could be a such a bloody nightmare until I started this endeavour. I can get pictures later if it helps.

Pics? Sounds like you have the wrong brackets to me. I’ve had good success with the Sparco ones and am currently using Wedge Engineering.

Pictures installed in the car. Please excuse the dirty interior, it has been parked since October and has seen a lot of traffic in and out of it.

Looks like those are the wrong application or they were just not “finished”. Looks like that tab can be bent down so you can thread the bolt thru. You may need to redrill the whole though depending on if it lines up or not. If they are new and you bought them from a shop I’d send them the pics and ask for a refund, then contact Wedge. If they’re second hand then I’d try to make 'em fit so I didn’t waste my money on the purchase of brackets that don’t fit my car.

If it were so simple as just bending down the tab I would be fine with that but alas the tab is to far inboard to be within reach of the bolt hole. I fired off an email to the seller and am currently awaiting a response.

good luck!

Haha so far they have told me that my floor pan is different from a 1990-1993 Integra… This is going to be a long ass day.

My weapon r brackets looked just like that…that fourth hole that isnt lining up is flat in my 93 teggy…correct me if i am wrong but 3 hinges are like the ones that are bent over and fourth one is flat bear the armrest…

Yes the 3 are aligned save for the one that is flat. Did they randomly change the floor pan in '93?

CG5accord is right, I was totally thinking the other side and didn’t look at your whole pic close enough or think twice about your car being different… for some reason your car has both rear mounting points as being vertical whereas the normal setup is for the outer one to be vertical and the inner to be horizontal. This is VERY strange! I wonder if it’s a USDM vs CDM thing? I’ve never seen that before.

just got a corbeau seat bracket with dual locks. perfect fitment! thanks corbeau

And so the plot thickens haha. Every DA I have ever seen at the wreckers as well as my buddies cars have been the 4 vertical mounts. To google for some answers hopefully!

Bryan, do you have a link to the Corbeau brackets? I was not aware they made them for the DA. I know they make sliders and side mounts, but didn’t know they made brackets.

yea they make them…i got them with my corbeau fx1 pro seat today

Could one of you kind folks with a USDM car post a picture of the aft inboard mounting point so I can possibly put this issue to bed?

in ur pics boltonhonda that bracket just looks simply bent up as it is NOT straight u can see a curve, have u tried to just simply bend it down?

also in our USDM car the bracket is flat on that part…so i think u will have to modify urs unless they sell them differently

CDM and USDM are differant, probably because of the front seat belts, the USDMs are auto seat belts and I beleave the belt is atttched to the seat, on CDM G2s the belt is on the “tunnel”, you can also see the floor pan is differant, inboard seat bracket mount is at an angle and the tunnel on the CDM is much higher then on the USDM along with the seat bracket mount being horizontal.

But then I guess you already know that now. 94

What kind of seat are you using?? i just bought a srd seat for my da and im looking for the sliders/bracket. will that bracket fit the srd

i am using a corbeau fx1 pro…as for if it will fit that seat im sure it will if u want it too, if it dont line up properly just drill holes in it that do, its a good sturdy bracket and bolted in nicely to the seat and the car…ill whip out my camera tomorrow and take some pics, i just need to pull my sd card from my go pro
