James, I just can’t get into the reggae sound. I can’t break the link in my mind between reggae and drug use.
lol, well I can assure you that not everyone who listens to it does drugs. I know at least 1 person who falls into that category.
I think a lot of people think because they smoke weed they have to listen to reggae or something. For me, Reggae is the drug. I put on my headphones, crank up the music and it puts me into a great, relaxed mood, without the need to put anything other than music into my body.
For me it’s more about the music than the words. A few of my favorite songs don’t even have any or very minimal lyrics.
Here’s a couple examples. I’ve posted these before, but here they are again.
This or really any Bob Marley Dub is usually amazing.

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Pride and Joy Acoustic !!!

don’t let your CoC find out about your musical tastes or they’ll have you pissing into a cup twice a week. :giggle:
ETA: A little Michael Buble, Paul Potts, and Jose Carreras before bed.
LOL my CO came into the gym once midway through “legalize it”. It was awkward but he made a joke about it. Luckily he likes me because he can be pretty rough if he doesn’t.
ha. nicely done.
Yeah those two notes that were in tune were great.
Loved it
