Ok everyone, I was recently in a fender bender and I need a new catback exhaust system to replace my greddy SP. I loved the big exhaust tip as well as the nice tone of the exhaust. Anyone recommend another exhaust system whos tone rivals that of the Greddy SP? Don’t want something loud like a DC sport catback. Price is of no concern because I’m having the insurance pay for it.
Another Greddy SP isn’t an Option ?
I thought greddy discontinued making the SP and only offer the MX model for our cars? Do they still make the SP model line for our cars?
How banged up is your greddy sp? I’ll be the busted one off you if you show me some pics. It’ll help pay for your new one.
no pics but I had to reweld the exhaust numerous times due to the pipes rusting at the seems and or mandrel bends. Then a year ago I had to use JB weld to patch up all the rusted holes in the exhaust. Not to mention that I took this exhaust off my 91 GS that I had wrecked a year ago. So its about time I replaced this rust pot. U have an SP for sale?
The DC exhaust is not loud … Ive has that system, and it sounds as close to stock as can be.
I have a Trust that I was thinking about selling so I could get a Tanabe (I prefer louder exhausts, lol)… I’m not certain but I think it’s basically the same thing as a GReddy SP (click my sig for a pic)… let me know if you’re interested…
hey bob, I thougth trust was greddy? As for the pic of your tail pipe, looks just like mine. I’ll let you know if I decide to buy it. I currently have my stock exhaust in excellent condition so an exhaust is of no major concern currently.
As for DC, I don’t know what you had done Redlineintegra but I heard a DC exhaust on a 92 GSR from a fellow member and its loud for my ears. My Greddy sp was quiet, and even on wide open throttle its not the loud either, just a nice tone. The greddy MX uses the SP exhaust but different tip.
yea i have heard the dc on a gsr and it was a little loud but all the ones i have heard on ls cars have a nice tone to them similar to stock!
