Ok, my question is to swap a B16a1 into a second gen integra do I just need the long block, transmission and an ECU? Or do i need axles and motor mounts too? I read the B16 swap guide, and it sounded to me like i didnt need the axles or different motor mounts. I am in the process of selling my 1993 civic hb right now so I can get a teg, so i dont know if i will have a 90-91 or a 92-93 is the year going to make a difference?
Thanks in advance.
if you get a 90-91 teg very easy to swap over the first generation b16 motors , you will need the b16a motor, tranny, ecu, you can use your stock axles as long as there in good shape and use your stock motor mounts
read the swap guide for 92-93 b16 swaps
thanks, that what i thought just wanted to make sure so i didnt screw myself over.
how much for the hatch?
Im looking to get around $3,500, its just a cx and its got 170k miles, but it has 15’s, new tires, cd player and it runs like brand new.
I need to get new motor mounts for the B16A, it’s feeling real crappy.
So can I just buy new 90-93 Integra B18A1 motor mounts and it’ll work all good?
your selling the hatch? i would build that car up with the B16A. i cant remember…is it the older looking hatch? well anyways the motor will drop right into the teg, id recommend poly motor mounts though.
the poly mounts definetly help.
