What exhaust to buy if $$ is not an issue.

Okay. I’m in the market for an exhaust. My custom one sucks, and it is time to splurge. I’m looking for one that is slightly louder than stock at idle, and agressive at WOT, but not raspy or “bumblebee-ish” Also would like it to hold up and not rust away in a few years. What does anyone reccomend?

I’m looking for “I bought (Insert exhaust name here) and I loved it! Here are the reasons why.” I’m not worried about the $$ part, but availablilty is my issue. Don’t name some really great exhaust that I cannot find anywhere. (RE: RS*R) I’m just interested in what I can get easily. So, what does everyone think?

TIA

Fujitsubo.

mugen twin-loop, with custom bent piping:D

FOLDERS, coffee can with FATF 6" tip…:p:p

RS*R but they are REAL hard to come by

Actually 2 36oz. Sapporo cans stuffed with steel wool on a 2-1/4" Y pipe is the way to go…Nothing sez class like imported beer!
By the way I owned a Plymouth (Mitsu)Sapporo but got run over by a cement mixer before I had a chance to weld on said exhaust setup:bawl:

get a greedy one, I have mines for almost 8 years now…

how is the DC catback? I brother is determined to buy that one, they sell for like $500

The DC is beautiful. I have had mine for almost 6 or so months. I dunno why some people say they are loud…compared to Greddy mine was quieter (local testing :)). Go DC Kirk

BTW, what did you end up doing w/ those RS*R mang? Drop that thing again

Stew

Greddy MX for me baby- I paid $550 shipped- im sure there are some that give slightly more power gains, but the sound of a Greddy exhaust is amazing

now catback, pardon me but that just means that the system goes all the way to the cat, but doesn’t include a free flow cat right?

Thermal R&D Classic system … fully polished stainless steel, nice sound, cat-back system. Nuthin better.

Yeah, everything past the cat

if money is no object… look into a real full header back exhaust from Hytech.
