There was always alot of “loose” feeling in my car before i got these bars installed, with each additional bar i felt a small difference in handling.
If you ever had stock suspension and added sway bars, then you’ll really notice. But once you start upgrading, you wont feel much of a difference by adding more features, but its there and you’ll notice if you pay attention to detail.
They will but you need to enlarge the mounting holes a couple milimeters with a dremel or something similiar. Its pretty close, when you line the bar up with the bolts the bar mounts to you can see over 3/4 of the bolt through the mounting hole, so the holes just need to be made slightly bigger.
I have a Skunk2 (pretty much same thing as Spoon) rear bar from a DC/EG for sale if your intersted and willing to dremel the mounting holes out some. Let me know.
Because their custom order, and they cost around 500, and unless you know how to make it like .J. where you can still use your hatch struts you lose the ability for the hatch to be hooked up ot the hatch struts
Ben Ogle’s Rear Strut bar is the most rigid bar i’ve ever seen for our cars, Im talking about his one piece not his other design.
Almost all of Bens bars were the best i’ve ever seen as far as being rigid. But finding his bars is more rare then any bar you’ll come across.
I have his C-pillar, Strong, and Tie bars, his rear strut bar i couldn’t get at the time, which im sad I didn’t
when it comes to strut bars, the flatter the better. that being said, if u want to use one thats actually decent u will have to cut. its simple really, the shorter the distance between the connecting points of one strut to the other the stiffer it will be. if that makes sense
