haha finaly decided to buy the rims drove 4 about 1hr to pick it up cuz i didnt want to pay for shipping and i couldnt wait. :roll: do you guys think a 215/35/16 would fit??

I think they’re played out, but then again what inexpensive wheel isn’t played by now. I don’t know why more people don’t buy buddy clubs. They are the best cheap wheel imo.
I don’t hate the wheels, just the combination of them with that stretched sidewall, the camber, and the fact that the tire doesn’t fit inside the fenders. I actually like wheels with a deep dish to them, but those look out of proportion to me. :shrug:
Plus I don’t really see any performance advantage to running those, particularly on the rear. However, I think they might work on a visual level if the car had widened fenders that could accomodate a wheel of that size. Or perhaps fender flares. Provided one could pull off such a feat without being labelled a ricer, that is…
^those are pretty much my reasons. That type of setup doesn’t look right on a DA.
eh! hate it or love it… i havent gotten any negative comments till i posted on here but eh it doesnt bother me. i seem to be content with it and what ive done to it so thats all that matters. never been called a ricer eigther. i did it cause not alot of people pull it off and im not rockin stock wheels like alot people on here do. not hating at all ive had mine on mesh. you might say yeah who would like to pull it off well idk ive gotten alot of good comments saying damn it looks sick etc. no matter what your always gonnna have people hating but that doesnt bother me. if you think about it your prolly always gonna have somebody out there that has a way cleaner set up then you. i do the mods to the car if i like em not just to say oh i got jdm this jdm that and dont really apprecaite em and just do it so people can think my car is cool. but i dont race this car i cruise in it its the daily driver its not fast at least i dont think so. its just another slammed DA. but thanks for the comments :rockon:

Hey Hond B18 why did you not go with the 15X8 15 off-set, not that the 16’s are not nice but you may have gotten away with a little less work. I would like to see them in person maybe in a few months at a meet.:rockon:

i was thinking about it but i had some 15’s on there before but i saw that 16’s would look good so i did. plus my cousins has the sport max 501’s 15’s 15 offset but i was like eh ima get a bigger dish on it so i did.

lol yeah i know huh. thanks bro… im not from there or stay down there… my bro used too he went to school down there he stayed in the woodlands then tomball. i have a cousin that stays down there he drives a red EG hatch on red wheels its the ones on the pics. he stays down there and i go to visit every now and then. im in the Dallas area.
I wasn’t calling you a ricer, for the record. I meant that I’d be curious to see how your setup would look with widened fenders, but a “widebody” DA is hard to pull off. The few I’ve seen have been poorly received and labelled as “rice”. No personal attacks, just making an observation…
