Where is the o2 sensor located on the g2's?

Is it under the car? I need to know because i want to get my a/f ratio gauge hooked up, and need to know where the sensor is.

What year is your car? 90 and 91 models have the o2 sensor up near the cylinder head on the exhaust manifold. You should be able to see it pretty easy if you take off the heat shield. 92 and 93 models are located just before the cat so you’ll have to go under the car.

its a 90-91, so take off the heat shield and i should be able to see it? thanks man, for the help appreciate it.

You will see it without taking off the heat shiels, there is a plug that is right next too where the tranny connects to the block and one wire leads to the o2 sensor. THe actual sensor is located right after the manifold merges into one pipe.

Hope that helps a little. I think its a green plug too (I may be wrong) - its too cold to check

its IN the exhaust manifold. pop your hood, look at the exhaust manifold, you can’t miss the sensor. its the only thing coming off of the manifold that has a wire connected to it.

found it guys, now i got to extend the wire so it can reach the dang o2 sensor, thanks g2ers
